Creek Audio announced the Cymatics 6, the first model in a new three speaker program that defines the brand’s loudspeaker development future.
Cymatics 6 forms the centerpiece of a planned trilogy comprising Cymatics 3, 6, and 9. The range is structured around scale and system hierarchy, with each model engineered to serve a clearly defined acoustic role while sharing a common design and engineering platform, the company says.
According to the press release, the Cymatics name references the science of sound wave pattern formation. For Creek, this translates into loudspeaker design focused on controlled dispersion, coherent phase behavior, and balanced low frequency integration within real world listening environments.
Cymatics 6 has been developed as the reference platform within the series. Cabinet architecture, crossover topology, and driver integration have been optimized to deliver controlled extension and spatial precision, while maintaining stable and realistic amplifier loading characteristics.
The loudspeaker is a 2-way reflex loaded bookshelf design, comprised of a 171mm custom fiber mid-woofer driver and 25mm aluminum dome tweeter and finished in gloss black or eco-friendly wood.
The Cymatics program represents more than a single product launch. It establishes a scalable loudspeaker platform road map, intended to reinforce Creek’s position within the performance driven segment of the independently British owned Hi-Fi market, the company stated.
