Chinese company Cayin continues to expand its line of tube amplifiers with the introduction of the upgraded Jazz 100 model, which succeeds the popular Jazz 80.
The new amplifier operates in pure Class A mode and delivers a quite high output of 2x46 watts, ensuring high sound quality and sufficient volume for most audio systems, the company says.
Unlike its predecessor, the Jazz 100 utilizes powerful 805A direct-heating triodes instead of KT88 pentodes in the output stage. This change allows for a richer and warmer sound, the company says. The preamp and driver stages feature 6JC6, 6SN7, and 6L6 tubes, all developed by specialists at Mullard, further enhancing the overall performance of the device, Cayin states.
The Jazz 100 is equipped with a built-in digital-to-analog converter based on the ESS ES9018K2M chip, which supports high-quality audio playback. The device also includes a wireless Bluetooth 5.0 adapter with support for aptX HD and aptX Low Latency codecs, making it easy to connect to various audio sources.
Users can choose between elegant black and silver finishes for the chassis, allowing the amplifier to seamlessly fit into any interior design.
